These lines included the Rosslyn Connecting RR (a Pennsylvania RR property), the Washington & Old Dominion RR, the Lorton & Occuquon RR, and the Fort Belvoir Military RR. The information presented is an overview and is not meant to be an in-depth article covering each line’s entire history. We are presenting this information in order to provide a quick look at their operation and how the RF&P provided an important link between these lines and the national rail network.
