The Society accepts new memberships and membership renewals via PayPal, which can be purchased alongside an order for merchandise. New members should also fill out and send in the membership application under separate cover. Renewals by PayPal need not fill out the membership application anew.
Individual Dues are $20 per calendar year, with Sustaining Dues being $30 and Contributing Dues being $100. Sustaining and Contributing dues provide the additional benefit of a tax-deductible contribution of any amount greater than the Individual Dues cost. Additional members of the same household of another class of member may join as Family members for $5 per year. The Family class of membership does not receive a copy of the publication, but can vote on Society business.
The Society incurs PayPal fees for online renewals without passing this surcharge to members. Membership applications and renewals are also accepted by mail to the PO Box 9097, Fredericksburg VA 22403-9097 address. Any new memberships received during the final two months of the year will counted towards the following calendar year unless otherwise stated by applicant.
